Job description

We are looking for Nurse Practitioners to join our team in conducting patient centered care in an acute rehab hospital and a behavioral health hospital in the Beachwood, Ohio area. The Nurse Practitioner will be accountable for the medical management of patients admitted in these facilities, including initial and follow-up visits in an in-patient setting. The Nurse Practitioner will examine and treat patients independently under the supervision of our internal medicine physician and other health care professionals to ensure proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

Competencies:

· Performs clinical examinations and creates assessments plans

· Addresses urgent care needs of the patients as needed

· Orders, interprets and analyzes diagnostic tests and creates short- or long-term treatment plans

· Prescribes and manage medications and treatments as appropriate

· Delivers quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to appropriate documentation, coding, engagement of patients and family members

Qualifications:

· Experience in internal medicine/family practice, with hospital experience preferred

· Minimum Master’s Degree in Nursing

· Valid nurse practitioner or physician assistant license/Board certification

· 1-year experience preferred

· NPI # as an NP

· BLS/ACLS

· Valid Driver’s License, auto insurance, vehicle, willingness to drive to acute care facilities

· Current on all continuing education unit requirements

· Attention to detail and thoroughness

· Excellent oral and written communication, including visit documentation skills

· Willingness to participate in various facility meetings as needed

Salary: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
